About Phil

As District Director for retiring Congressman Denny Heck, Phil Gardner has worked hard for the South Sound. In Congress, Phil will stand up to Trump by focusing on solving problems and making sure our progressive values are represented in DC.

Leading Congressman Heck’s office, Phil delivered for our community by working to fix our broken healthcare system, modernize our infrastructure, fight for our veterans and military families, and get serious about the climate emergency and saving Puget Sound.

If elected, Phil would be the first member of the House born in the 1990s and Washington state’s first openly LGBTQ member of Congress.

Chip in now to power our grassroots campaign!

I spent the better part of the last decade serving the people of Washington’s 10th Congressional District under Congressman Denny Heck’s leadership. I know our district like the back of my hand, and I believe I am best suited to continue Denny’s work in Congress.

If elected, I will be the only member of Congress born in the 1990s and the first openly LGBTQ member from Washington state. I believe we are at a use-it-or-lose-it moment for our democracy. 2020 is the year we take back our government and take back our future -- and if you’re ready to fight alongside me, become a supporter of our campaign today.
